Content Management and Migration website
Consular Spouses Shanghai is an organisation for diplomatic spouses in Shanghai. Purpose of the organisation is to facilitate friendship and understanding between members and stimulate cultural exchange with Shanghai and China. Every year it organises a major charity event to give something back to the Chinese community.
For two years I have been taken care of content management and maintenance of the website of Consular Spouses Shanghai (CSS). After a year we started working on migrating the content management system from Joomla to WordPress with the same look and feel. This project was realized by an Italian webmaster and guided by me. The migration to WordPress made it easier for the organisation to hand over the maintenance of the website, as members change regurlarly. The new set-up is easier to maintain.
A website shows the image of a company, keeping it up to date shows the efficiency of the company.
Ilse Scheidel has been managing our website -for few years now- with punctuality and professional experience, delivering a honest and steady image of our association.
Her inputs also helped us to understand the kind of image we wanted to offer to our public and improve it. She has initially helped to set up the website and then perfectly directed the entire process of migration of it to a more user friendly system (which will allow us to manage the website independently, great suggestion). Couldn’t ask for a better website manager.
